About Pennywise
Budgeting fails when it demands perfection. Our approach is simpler: know roughly what comes in, decide what the important categories may cost, log spending as you go and look at the month once it is over. The app makes each of those steps a few taps, shows the number that matters, which is what is safe to spend today, and never lectures. Manual entry is the default because it keeps you honest; bank import is there when you want less typing.
What you get
Capture every spend
Amount, category, done. Recent merchants are suggested first, and recurring costs are added for you automatically.
Category limits
Soft warnings before you go over, not lectures afterwards. The goal is awareness, not guilt.
Bills on the calendar
Recurring bills are detected and tracked, and you get a reminder before each one goes out.
Goals that move
Several goals can run side by side, each with its own progress bar and a realistic finish date.
